Our sodas were founded on the idea of providing the best tasting and environmentally responsible product we could make. While working as a waiter at the all natural and organic Flatbread Pizza Co, in Portland Maine, Maine Root Founder Matthew Seiler was inspired to make a change. After serving so many bad Root Beers, he set out to create an alternative. Using the restaurant as the testing ground, Maine Root was created. At first it was served exclusively at the restaurant, then throughout Portland, then throughout Maine. Now Maine Root is enjoyed as far south as Texas!
